About Us

Creating custom models for resale is certainly not a new idea. As early as 1999 enthusiasts were selling custom models on the internet, including one of our founding members, but sales have been hampered by the lack of cost effective bulk parts. However, in 2000 LEGOTM Direct released the first installment of bulk elements and has been expanding their line steadily every since then. With this environ change the gauntlet was laid. The challenge was to design custom train models reproducible in large quanity, at a reasonable price, and with broad track appeal. Out of this challenge bore the first season of designs from BricWorx.

BricWorx is dedicated to serving and expanding the tight knit group of LEGOTM train enthusiasts worldwide. Although we do not plan to lose money, we are not out to make a profit either. Our sets are priced very near break-even. We don't include our time as a cost because we're doing it for fun! In some cases models may actually cost more to build on your own then at our prices. Don't ask how, Dwayne says just trust him, something about 'what we lose in expenses we make up in volume'.

Thanks for taking to time to learn about BricWorx. We look forward to your support!

PS. Steve and Dwayne wish to thank the Pacific Northwest Train LEGOTM Club (PNLTC) for giving us the opportunity to meet and found BricWorx. We plan to continue as active members; thanks again PNLTC!
